The Warbird Park Myrtle Beach Blog

Warbird Park in Myrtle Beach South Carolina is home to several old fighter aircraft. Located off Highway 17 Business at the southern end of Ocean Boulevard, just inside the old "Myrtle Beach Air Force Base". During it's long tenure in defense of our country, the mission of Myrtle Beach Air Force changed as the threats to our national security changed.

Entrance into WarBird Park is Free of charge. Shaded picnic tables are available.

The base was home to the 354th Tactical Fighter Wing.

Myrtle Beach AFB was deactivated in March 1993 and the land was subsequently turned over to the City of Myrtle Beach. The Warbird Park blog contains articles of interest.
