Battlefield Cross Memorial

On a beautiful 4th of July day 2015, Chapter 34-3 Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association, unveiled their Battlefield Cross Memorial to honor all the brave men and women who have fought and died for our country.

After opening remarks, an Honor Guard of Chapter 34-3 Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association members presented the soldiers 5 most important battlefield items; rifle and bayonet, boots, dog tags and helmet in a wooden memorial mock-up. Each honor guard member performed flawlessly, with reverence and respect.

A solemn prayer was offered to our Almighty, and then, one of the most beautiful renditions of TAPS I have every heard, was played by the groups bugler. Again, another flawless performance.

The memorial was unveiled and visitors showed their appreciation and approval with a very nice round of applause. And yes, even a few tears were shed.

All in all, the Battlefield Cross Memorial ceremony today was beautiful, reverent, solemn and flawless

Thanks so much to Chapter 34-3 Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association of Myrtle Beach for such an inspiring ceremony and beautiful memorial to remind us that Freedom Is Not Free.
