World War II Memorial

The World War II Memorial at Warbird Park was dedicated on November 9, 2023

The memorial pays homage to those who served in World War II, as well as the Grand Strand’s wartime role serving as an Army airfield where soldiers trained.

Eleven World War II veterans attended the ceremony and several spoke on how important memorials like this are so we don't forget those who served.

Warbird Park hours are sun-up to sun-down.
